In this week class we were required to research and study about the given practitioner/photographer. My group and I (Group 4) were assigned to study about "Wolfgang Tillmans". After studying his exploration we had to research and analysis of his works. Also, we have to make use of images to find out what is the message, purpose, how it relates to his practice, etc. To summary of this artist, the key ideas is what we learn in his practice in relation to photonovel.

Here is our group presentation slide:

It is really interesting to see how Wolfgang Tillmans experiment with different techniques, how he transformed a traditional genre in something modern, how his works reflects his nature and surrounding well, and also portrays what he wants the audience to see and feel his photo. His photo gave me inspiration for how my photonovel would look like as I wanted my photonovel to be natural in the photos, and able to see and feel the ideas I have.

As we presented what we have researched about the photographer during the class, I found some informative and inspiring as different photographers have different belief, practice and subject they focus on. Ya, so i have to start my photonovel project now and listing out what the things that I need to fulfill through my project. I will create a mind map in the next blog post.

Thanks for reading.
