What is this "Think Back Sheet" about? Is a guide and a few questions that will help me to reflect towards my design concept and perception now and before I joined the course. The first question was asking what I consider graphic design to be when I joined the course, and the paper below was my answer after brainstorming what was my thoughts at the time a few year ago.

The diagram below was a mapping practice where I can practice for my 4 fields of design and how to pin down the point for all the projects into the 4 fields of design respectively. As you can see below, there are some overlapping projects in between 2 fields of design. One more interesting fact of this mapping was done by a friend who never knows of my designs, and never seen any of my artworks or the projects I show her. I feel surprised that my friend can understand the messages and meanings I want to deliver in the designs. Which also means that my messages were successfully delivered to the person.

Here is a reflection sheet on my diploma first year experiences, thoughts and my experiences and thoughts in the degree of second year today. However, what i wish to emphasised again was knowing more different skills and knowledge, the main focus on producing a effective design is not just a good looking, is more about functional. As a good designer have to understand what society needs and wants. In addition, critical thinking are also important than mastering in software skills which means that a designer should know basic things of almost everything rather than just know about software skills.

Thanks for the reading.
