I just realised my research quite a mass and all the information was not clear enough. So that, I have made a plan to list down what I want to research of and the result I intend to gather. Here is the plan:
Infographics (Traditional Chinese Medicine)
Focus: Misunderstanding towards Herbal Remedies among young people in Malaysia.
Primary Research
· 13 Questionnaire Survey
- Target Audience: Student & Employed aged 21 between 35.
- Survey target questions like perceptions and understanding of this traditional medicine.
- Target questions like why they prefer modern medicine than Chinese medicine and what their thoughts towards herbal remedies.
· Interview
- With TCM Physician, senior citizens who taking TCM for long time and student and employed.
- Target question on perceptions, experiences, their thoughts and their point of view why traditional medicine are mostly rejected in Malaysia.
· Observation
- On how local herbs can help people when modern medicine doesn’t work.
- The effectiveness of Chinese herbal medicine, the ingredients used, and benefits.
- Take place where I have to visit the Chinese herbs shop
Secondary Research
- Case Studies / Recent news
- Handbooks on rules and regulations of the Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Reasons of denying traditional Medicines
From the last post I have drafted first 10 questions that I want to research on through my survey, and after brainstorm and consideration. I have listed down some specific decision such as:
determined my focus and what I want to find out in the research
determined what information I want to gather.
determine my target audience
revise all of the questions
finalised the 13 questionnaire.
Therefore, I focus on the survey will be questionnaire on perception and understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Malaysia. The target audience is student and employed age between 21-35. For interview I have made appointment with 5 peoples who have sufficient knowledge and experiences on Traditional Chinese Medicine.
