Statement of Intent Flag: Final Outcome

Reflection

The final outcome of my flag is very different from what I had started with. Previously, there was not many elements or characters and lacked in some aspects. I had completely cut out the content which I originally had and instead added the words of the ideas I think interesting. This makes the poster more personal as my intention is very much about my own personal perspective and opinions. I illustrated a character to represent visual communication and added some attributes that relate to it. I used paper to come out the texture for the background before I started illustrating, I found myself having difficulty trying to do mixed media. I went for line art to add for the background to represent the research and experiences which is then complemented by the title “Revision is creation” which is an ode to my experiences through this project.
