After the multiple consultation with Mr Sean, this is the final draft of my statement of intent. The paragraph below had been change to more critical writing and third person professional report mode.
Statement of Intent
Great content is an important asset, yet telling a message through design is the core of the purpose. Creating insightful content is a healthy and necessary practice of business in any industry. As a designer, it is my vision and mission to deliver powerful content that spreads positivity and values that are inspired by the world. The richness of histories and experiences is what the current and young generations now exiled. This will give a complete insight into how we can play with thoughts and create amazing designs that we can share with the world (Lakkur, G. D. (2021).
Therefore, it is desirable to research how visual communication design can establish content aid of mixed media. Mixtures of traditional media, digital media, and materials allow us to create content and promote creativity in this society. Communication design consists of the use of text and images constantly to communicate ideas for different purposes and interests. The designer as a gatekeeper of communication addresses the information and expresses what people will see, which makes it the responsibility to do impactful and spread the positive messages that inspire daily life.
In a nutshell, there will be an exploration that can make the world a better place and provide solutions to problems in different contexts. Hence, it is my intention to elaborate the beliefs and values through my works and shine my uniqueness to the world.

The book features Tibor Kalman as one of the practitioner’s discusses the definition of graphic design. The author also reveals to readers how he using communication consisting of the use of words and images on the design that relates to the artist’s experience in his early creation.
2. Nielsen, J. (n.d.). THE IMAGINATIVE POWERS OF THE USERS’ MIND. from Visual Communication to Visual Interaction, 2-2.1.
This journal reveals some of the key points about the function of visual communication which serve as inspiration for the designer expression and also a creation of the design.
3. Lakkur, G. D. (2021). Talk Without FEAR - Learn the Art of Creation, Curation, and Presentation. Chennai: Notion Press.
The book reveals content being necessary. Just imagine the number of thoughts and experiences that people have. Shall we say uncountable? In the same way, content creation has no limits as it is purely based on your thoughts and experiences. The author has brought insight into how we can play with our thoughts and create an amazing design that we can share with the world.
4. Lupton, I. A. (2011). Exploring Materials. Creative Design for Everyday Objects, 26.
The press release introduces materials that are like words that can get inspired by physical forms and substances. It also provides an insight into how materials create take inspiration from everyday objects in order to create.
5. Jiang, F. (2012). Visual Communication in Cross-Cultural Design. CORE, 15.
The author focused on what is visual communication and how communication between different culture working. Many examples were provided to showing the effect of cross-culture on commercial solutions. This book provides several useful viewpoints when we are researching cross-culture projects and explained the challenges of this topic through experiences.
