What I observe:
1. Selangor Grocer's Guild
The building
built 1927
a trade association that represents the interests of grocers, retail traders and sundry-shop owners in KL and Selangor.
founded by a small group of Cantonese business man
three -storey Neo-Classical building, nice art deco architecture
with balconies on the upper floor
with Chinese characters
no longer functioning
More about
membership become lesser, only 73 members now
the building are now sub-let, become cafe shop now
will be given back to the government when is no longer in existence

2. Kedai Runcit - Lim Mesra Trading
in Subang Jaya,
wholesalers, sale of foodstuff, groceries and household products
small scale, with a lot things, little space for walk, no aircon, banyak dusty
cheap but uncle (the shop owner) is not friendly
Kakak (The staff) all very nice, helpful
Sell a lot of local things, Dry foods, ingredients, sauce, daily products
customers type: mostly aunties here, young people not so much, other races not so much too
Modern day: got touch-go pay, credit & QR pay, cashier, scale weight machine
The unique things
The old-school display, price board, old racks
uncle and aunty conversation (rojak languages)
special item still can found here
the customized service - Kakak will help to carry all the stuffs put into the car
human warmth, the culture and experiences are different compared to the big stores.

3. Childhood Concept Store @ Shopping Mall
Observe the environment & people
childhood themed items, with a lot of local brand products
bring me back from the past
to explore the snacks and toys on sale here
old-school display, snacks are well packed, biscuits bottle & tins, gumball & gashapon machine, childhood beverages, ad more.
expensive, not many people will buy, only taking photos
overall feels a bit different, not like the old Kedai Runcit

4. Kedai Serbaneka YKM
sell some kuihs, daily products, drinks, and plants
tidy and old fashioned, little things, dont have so many customers now
The owner "Uncle" very friendly
located at SS15
5. Kedai Runcit Feng Yi
The shop owner is very young, the shop is close to the farm, in Kampung area
Small but with a lots of local brand daily products, snacks and drinks
Have a pet inside the shop, very kampung style, a lot Malay customers there
Products are well-organized, different categories, clean
6. CHAI JOO SENG @ Bangsar
Gold, old signage, mix of typography, old advertising signage
enjoy to see the details from the outdoors, everything looks disordered
a lot of things are hanging it on the board
walked around and I saw a Milo tank there! It surprises me!
Finally hunted this beauty shop @ bangsar
The biscuits are well-packed in plastic and selling it in front the shop
