“Campur lah!” is a campaign featuring a mixture of food ingredients of the local context of Malaysia. The aim of this campaign is to regenerate the harmonious mixed culture belonging to people in Malaysia. As a designer, it is my intention to bring this to the table where to embracing the diversities that connect with each other together due to the conflict of mixed culture and language that is not proper standardization.
Malaysia’s cuisines in the present day are influenced by Malay, Chinese and India. This has resulted in a symphony of dishes flavours making Malaysian cuisine highly complex and diverse, and some local ingredients are essential to Malaysian cooking, such as chillies, garlic, potato, tomato, carrot, and onion. The campaign includes three different poster designs that will be displayed on the wall in Malaysia street to influence the imagination of the young generations. The visual of these three posters to be combined in different types of vegetables and languages to express the diversity of cultures that occurs in Malaysia.
